Why we built it
An aurora forecast is only part of deciding whether to look outside. Aurora Scanner brings location-based forecasts, hourly cloud conditions and recent sky imagery together in one view.
The app is in private testing. Its website explains the current version and provides support. Forecasts are estimates; cloud cover, darkness and changing space weather can affect what you see.
