Why we built it

A Status is a 9:16 frame, and almost nothing you shoot is. VividStatus fits a photo or video to it, with you deciding what fills the frame, and cuts a video that runs past the limit into parts that post in order, so the ending survives.

The share extension and the Shortcuts action mean you can hand it a file from anywhere and get a ready-to-post one back. Nothing is uploaded, no account is required, and there is no watermark.

What it does
