Why we built it

Most households run their shopping on text messages: someone at the store, someone at home remembering one more thing once the trolley is already full. Plenty replaces that with a single list everyone can see and edit at the same time. Add milk on one phone and it appears on the others as it is typed.

The details are what make it stick. Items sort in the order you actually walk your store. A barcode scan or a spoken sentence adds several items at once. Scan the receipt and your monthly grocery budget builds itself. One subscription covers the whole household, and joining a list someone shares with you is always free.
